The Magnet Program at William R. Boone High School is one of 17 Magnet Programs in Orange County. The Magnet Program is comprised of three strands – Criminal Justice, Law, and Finance. Students from the 16 high schools in Orange County compete for one of the 50 Criminal Justice, 60 Law, and 28 Finance positions available to incoming ninth graders. The three programs each feature a vigorous college prep curriculum comprised of Advanced Placement courses, Dual enrollment courses in articulation with Valencia Community College, and Honors courses. Specific course requirements for each of the student’s four years in high school are a part of each academy.
