Academic Dishonesty within the Magnet Program

Academic Dishonest has become a major problem within the Magnet Program. The policy this year was to call a conference, counsel the student and hold the referral on any Magnet student involved in Academic Dishonesty.  Because of the many occurrences of Academic Dishonesty we are no longer able to continue with this policy.   Incidences of Academic Dishonest for Magnet students will not longer involve a meeting to hold the referral. Academic Dishonesty referrals for Magnet students will be sent directly to discipline as is the case with all the other students at Boone High School. Two referrals, of any kind, issued to a Magnet student, may lead to removal from the program. These referrals remain with the student through out their high school career and can impact their acceptance into National Honor Society and certain universities.

Boone has most or all of the applications listed on this website. They are located in College and Career. Be sure to check with Ms. Cadman

Need a transcript?

If you need to send a transcript to a college, university or scholarship, you can order them from Ms. Cadman in the College and Career Center located in the Guidance Lobby.  Transcripts submitted to state universities are transmitted electronically and are free. All other transcripts have a $2.00 fee per transcript and it takes five business days for them to get to Boone. It is important to plan ahead. Pick up your "Request for Transcript" form in the College and Career Center. It must be signed by a parent. You only need one form all year. Once submitted you can add to your list.
