College Representative Visit Information :: Visit Schedule

Approximately 55 colleges send representatives to Boone to talk with students interested in their colleges/universities.  This is a great opportunity to get a contact at the school of your interest.  It is also an excellent opportunity to get the information you need to make a good decision for your future.

The following procedure makes the process a smooth one:

  1. Information about the date and time for each college is posted on BBC, the Boone Website, the Senior Guidance Newsletter, and weekly on the bulletin board in your English teacher’s room.
  2. Sign up in the College & Career Center to attend. This is located in the Guidance Office and you don’t need an appointment.
  3. Upon signing up, you will be given a pass with the name, time, and date of the college visit.
  4. Have the teacher, whose class you will miss, sign the pass and bring the pass with you when you come to the College & Career Center for the visit.
  5. Give the pass to Ms. Cadman.  She will sign it and then you give it to your teacher when you return to that class the next day.

This is no substitute for visiting the campuses of your interest but it is a perfect time to get the contacts started.
